The other day I visited a mental hospital out of town. I wanted to see what it was like to be in a mental hospital. I had a great time with the patients there. Most of them seemed so normal to me and I could not understand why they were still confined. But the doctor in charge told me that sometimes they were quite normal and other times they were crazy. The reason according to the doctor was that these patients did not know how to control their mental thinking, and when the thinking got to the extremes, then the patient becomes crazy. The remedy to this was mental training in order for them to control their thoughts. mental training is specially important to the schizophrenic patients because they are unable to control their thoughts, leading to the schizophrenic attack. That is why they start hallucinating. It was great to see that he hospital had enough facilities to train these patients, otherwise they would be completely lost in these hospitals. Apparently, their cases are controllable and curable.
